问题描述
I am trying to print onto heat-resistant laser jet film but the print continually fails after printing half of my picture. Troubleshooting for this suggests I change the paper setting to glossy or transparancy or heavy/thick, but that is not an option in the dialogue. There is just Paper, Paper (bond), Labels or Envelope.
Would any of these work? if not have you any suggestions as to what might work?
Thanks.

Hi @Coppernyx,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
HP does not support printing on transparency film or laser‑compatible film with the HP LaserJet MFP28w. This model is designed for standard office media only, and unsupported media can cause jams, half‑prints, or damage to the fuser.
Plain paper
Bond paper
Labels (laser‑compatible only)
Envelopes
If you need to print on specialty film or transparencies, HP recommends using a printer model that explicitly lists those media types in its specifications. For your MFP28w, stick to the supported options above to avoid hardware issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
